In 2009 Kerry Stainton-Herbert and Doug Herbert stood on their rabbit and briar-infested plot overlooking the historic ruins of the once flourishing Stewart Town gold mining settlement and knew their dream of producing fabulous Pinot Noir was possible.
The rest as they say is history, but of a different kind.

The Story
Both vintner and winemakers needed time to understand the terroir of this small, but unique vineyard.
That was the start, and The Bounder pinot noir was born, first vintage 2014.
Grapes from this small boutique vineyard were harvested and winemakers Grant Taylor and Jen Parr created a very special wine for you to enjoy.
