Maori Point Wines Riesling 2023
Our 2023 Riesling intrigues from the beginning, with beautiful orange blossom and honeysuckle aromas. On the palate, notes of honey, mandarin orange, ripe peach, and frangipani accompany mouthwatering hints of tropical fruit, finishing with a dash of minerality. It has 6g/L of residual sugar and excellent acidity structure, which means it begins with a touch of sweetness but finishes with a refreshing crispness. It is delicious now, but can be aged for 10+ years. Pairs well with most cuisine: seafood, fish, light salads, Thai and asian dishes. But perhaps the best pairing is simply a nice sunny day...

Brennan Wines Blanc De Noir 2025
While most commonly associated with sparkling wines like Champagne, Blanc de Noir may also be found as a still wine, a style which provides an experience of stunning elegance and finesse.
Our Blanc de Noir is crafted from carefully selected parcels of estate Pinot Noir. Using only free run juice from the press, minimal skin contact and lees stirring, this unique expression of Pinot Noir shows a wine with delicate fragrances of jasmine, Nashi pear and wet schist. Followed by a palate full of complexity and texture. Mineral notes mingle with fresh fruit characters of lychee and white rose. This elegant presentation of Pinot Noir allows the more subtle layers of the variety to shine through a long viscous finish. Dry in style at 13.5% alcohol.Glass

Maori Point Wines Chardonnay 2024
In 2024, we harvested our Chardonnay grapes primarily from the Van Der Mark vineyard in Bendigo. Owners Rob and Cherry are good friends of Māori Point, and we have been making Chardonnay with their grapes while the new plantings of Chardonnay at Māori Point are maturing. The growing season of 2024 was superb, with healthy grapes that showed excellent balance, and an earlier picking date than in the past
Grapes were hand harvested on April 4 and 12, then whole-bunch pressed, with select portions tread by foot. The wine was fermented by wild yeasts in oak barrels at Māori Point, and allowed to mature on lees in barrels. A long, cool fermentation and extended time on lees (with some lees stirring) in the Māori Point barrel hall contribute to a richly textured yet classically structured Chardonnay. The nose shows fresh bright citrus, white peach and apple, toasted hazelnut, with hints of smoke and minerality. On the palate that continues, with a beautiful tension between the fresh precise acidity, and the silky and supple complexity, leading to a long finish. Delicious now and will age well for 8 or more years.
Technical notes: 12.9% alcohol, pH 3.4. Vegan friendly, minimal sulfites. Glass

Brennan Wines Chardonnay 2023
With vines over thirty years in age and plantings covering just half a hectare in size, our annual Chardonnay bottlings are scarce and loved by many in the district.
Fermented and matured in chestnut and oak barrels, on lees for twelve months we seek to express the balance between our site and our winemaking craftmanship. Through the combination of new and used barrels and a crisp, crunchy acidity we find a wine of elegance and finesse.

Moko Hills Chardonnay 2022
Vintage & Vineyard
2022 delivered a dream growing season in Central Otago—calm, warm, and beautifully even from start to finish. Spring arrived without the usual frost scares, and summer stretched out long and dry, producing small, flavour-packed Chardonnay berries. As the grapes began to ripen, the weather turned cooler, giving them time to build freshness and balance.
Winemaking
Our Chardonnay comes from three carefully chosen clones at Moko Hills. The fruit was hand-picked and pressed as whole bunches for purity and finesse, then run straight—full solids and all—into French oak puncheons, with just a touch of new oak. Wild yeasts guided the ferment, and a portion of the barrels received gentle lees stirring to build texture.
After 12 months in barrel, the wine completed natural malolactic fermentation in spring before being moved to tank to settle and integrate. Bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve its natural character.Glass

Brennan Wines 2022 Tempranillo
Tempranillo planted at elevation brings about an elegant and delicate wine with a true Gibbston twist. The style is light-bodied with soft tannins, retaining the spicy and smoky notes that we love and differ significantly from our Pinot Noir.
Through careful management in the vineyard, years of learned understanding of how to treat the fruit in the winery and the massive effect of vine age, we are able to bring to bottle in confidence this 800 vine parcel from our Gibbston vineyard.

Maori Point 'Estate' Pinot Noir 2023
The 2023 growing season was close to optimal. With a small crop and moderate temperature conditions (which continued during the wild fermentations; most fermentation peak temperatures were under 28 deg C, a bit lower than usual). Elegant and restrained at first, the 2023 Estate Pinot Noir opens with dusty dark cherries, raspberries, earthy forest floor, and dried herbs. On the palate, deeper roasted notes and subtle minerality emerge, finishing with a touch of savoury, pithy bitterness. It’s a wine of quiet complexity and poise, showing hints of the brooding character that made the much heralded 2013 vintage so memorable - and promising to evolve beautifully with time.Glass

Moko Hills Pinot Noir 2022
Vintage & Vineyard
2022 was one of those rare, dream seasons in Central Otago. Spring arrived calm and mild, the soils were full of moisture, and the vines grew steadily without the usual frost or wind worries. A long, warm summer followed, giving us small, beautifully concentrated berries. As the grapes began to colour, the weather cooled just enough to let them ripen slowly and evenly—perfect for Pinot Noir.
Winemaking
Our Pinot Noir comes from four classic clones grown on the steep slopes of Moko Hills. We hand-picked the fruit and split it into three small fermentations—some whole bunches, some partially de-stemmed, and some fully de-stemmed—to capture the full character of the site. Wild yeast did the work, and we handled the wine gently to let the vineyard speak. After 23 days on skins, the wine was pressed to seasoned French oak for 12 months, where it rested and completed natural malolactic fermentation in spring.
We then selected the barrels that best expressed Moko Hills—bottled without fining or filtration to keep it pure.Glass

Doctors Flat Pinot Noir 2021
Doctors Flat 2021 - 2025 Red Wine of the Year
Scented with red rose, dark cherry, plum and spice. Mouthfilling, with dark berry, violet and spice flavours. Finely textured and showing real complexity, flowing to a persistent finish. Enjoy
Rewarding now but worthy of cellaring for ten years or more after the vintage date.
Doctors Flat Vineyard is a single 3-hectare block in Bannockburn. The soil is old in the context of Otago vineyards, composed of deep gravels laid down by receding glaciers some 480,000 years ago. We now see that the advanced soil age contributes to the fine tannin and good texture of Doctors Flat Pinot Noir.
The vineyard is farmed organically, primarily to support and improve the soil health. We know an abundant soil micro life is good for vine health. The micro life breaks down and transports nutrients and minerals to the vines and that connection between soil and vine contributes to the wine’s character and sense of place.
A simple programme of small open tanks, close attention, minimal inputs and a very light hand in the extraction process.
The wine was bottled without fining or filtration 18 months after harvest.
